Automac become a leader in the assembly and testing of handles for aluminum fixtures

The significant increase productive reported from our customer and the need to ensure, quality, reliability and flexibility in production, it has been necessary create a system for assembly and testing of Cremone handles less "subjective" of the existing systems used and above all more reliable in the testing . The process previously used which provided for the 'totally manual assembly and testing entrusted to the discretion of the operator, has been replaced with a place semi-automatic divided into three stations. The system is equipped with a PC complete with related software that allow you to fully manage all production data, data storage, recipe management, and all control parameters. To simplify things, on every single station is installed an operator panel touch screen 7 " which lets you see in real time all process values and to be able to set the various parameters of production.
 
 
001 * Semi-automatic station at rotary table for pre-assembly case with handle
Pla0001DSCF2662  The station is occupied by an operator who prepares the
   different components on the dedicated equipment, positioned on a
   rotary table with two positions. All the components are positioned
   with a well-defined logic of the special rollers slaving
   idle rollers. Subsequently performs the start for rotation
   table. The equipment previously loaded positions it self in
   automated area. Meanwhile, the the operator prepares the equipment
   returned in the area of manual work.
   The operations performed in the automated area are the following:
   - Application of thread locker in the threaded hole of the pinion
   - Loading and tightening in pre-torque with pneumatic wrench
   of M5 metric screws or self-tapping screws with different lengths.
   When finished the screwdriving, the equipment returns to the operator who transfers the handle pre-assembled on the shuttle translational in the robot.

 

002 * Automatic station of calibration, testing and greasing

  This station is fully automatic. On this station, there is a SCARA robot for
  transferring 
Handles pre-assembled from 
the first station. 
Specifically in    
 this station are:
  -Nr.1 pneumatic shuttle for the charging of the preassembed handles
  -Nr.2 station of calibration and testing. The two station working same
   time. The scara robot positions the handles in the free station.
  -Nr.1 greasing's station
  -Nr.1 motorized belt step/step for transfer handles at the next station.
  -Nr.1 station of deposit handles ko.
  This station fully automatic a considerable improvement of the quality
  because is not more entrusted to the discretion of the operator.
 
 
 
 
003 * Semi-automatic station at rotary table for assembly and completing handles

  The station is occupied by an operator who prepares the
  different components on the dedicated equipment, positioned on a
  rotary table with two positions. All the components are positioned
  with a well-defined logic of the special rollers slaving
  idle rollers. Subsequently performs the start for rotation table.
  The equipment previously loaded positions it self in
  automated area. Meanwhile, the the operator prepares the equipment
  returned in the area of manual work.
  The operations performed in the automated area are the following:
  - Loading and tightening in torque with pneumatic wrench of M4x8 or
    M5x9 metric screws for fissed for fixing the case covers. For the handles
with case covers at pressure, the screwdriver you disable and and alternatively is performed pressing
of the case covers. The device of screwing/pressing is positioned on the two electric axes freely
programmable to allow screwing/pressing of the various types of handles. At the end of screwing,
the equipment returns from the operator and places the handles assembly on the motorized belt
step/step for transfer handles at the packaging system. 
 
The production speed of the system is 360 handles/hour.
